Cozy Boston spots to have beer and appetizers

My friends and I could live on beer and appys.

We like dark, Irish-pub-type spots, that have great food and reasonably-priced drinks.

Here are a couple of our favorites:

Jacob Wirth's (theater district) is comfy, has excellent fried pickles and other good appetizers, and a nice draft beer selection.

Remington's (theater district) is a friendly, comfortable bar, with Keno and Trivial Pursuit cards.

The Green Dragon (Haymarket) is an old stand-by for atmosphere, but the appetizers are ho-hum.

Anyone else care to share some favorite Boston spots for a bite and a beer?

These sound like great places that I will never see as I won't cross Rte 128. I haven't been to Boston since the first shovel of the Big Dig. but Enjoy it is a great city.
